9 Days Kilimanjaro Climb – Machame Route

Overview

Begin your ascent of Africa’s highest peak with this 9-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Machame Route, one of the most scenic and rewarding paths to Uhuru Peak. Often referred to as the “Whiskey Route,” Machame offers dramatic views, rich biodiversity, and a steady acclimatization profile that improves summit success rates.

You’ll pass through lush rainforest, traverse the Shira Plateau, tackle the iconic Barranco Wall, and reach the summit via the challenging but spectacular Stella Point route. Unlike the Marangu Route, you will descend via a different path, allowing you to experience more of the mountain. With professional guides, high-quality camping gear, and a supportive team, your journey is safe, comfortable, and unforgettable.
