Itinerary – Day by Day
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you’ll be greeted by your private guide and transferred to your lodge near Arusha or Usa River. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you prepare for your short but exciting safari.

Meals: Bed & Breakfast
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, where you’ll spend the day on a game drive through landscapes filled with ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Tarangire is also home to giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species.
Accommodation: Tarangire Simba Lodge or similar
Meals: Full Board
Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
Today you’ll travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wildlife sanctuary. With luck, you may spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) all in one place.
Accommodation: Country Lodge Karatu or similar
Meals: Full Board
Day 4: Karatu – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before your transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or onward travel. Optional cultural stopovers can be arranged depending on your flight schedule.
